Individual therapy is a safe space for you to explore patterns, beliefs, thoughts, and feelings. Therapy will help you understand internal experiences that cause your distress. It’s a place to better understand yourself and how you navigate your relationships and the world. 

Most people start therapy because they are experiencing distress. This usually manifests itself with anxiety and/or depression, but sometimes other symptoms are present. 

Therapy explores family patterns, and how the past may be alive in today. You will explore your current ways of coping and determine if this is still working for you. If needed, we will identify and experiment with new approaches. 

Therapy entails connecting how past experiences influence your current state of affairs. If you find yourself repeating patterns that are no longer useful, thinking repetitive thoughts and wrestling with  reoccurring feelings give individual therapy a try.

Walk & Talk Therapy

Located in the heart of Broad Ripple Village three blocks from the Moon Trail, I offer “Walk & Talk” therapy. Light physical activity and time in nature can be immensely helpful in reducing stress, enhancing mood and unlocking thoughts and feelings. If you are interested in walk and talk therapy let me know. It can be used as frequently as you like. This is especially helpful for people with depression and anxiety.
